Arthroscopic debridement and capsular release is a minimally invasive technique typically utilized for the early to moderate stages of shoulder arthritis. This procedure removes arthritic bone and loose cartilage from the joint, as well as release tight capsular tissue to allow for improved shoulder motion. This is a good option for patients wanting to avoid or delay the need for a shoulder replacement.

ARTHROSCOPIC CAPSULAR RELEASE WITH MANIPULATION
Arthroscopic capsular release is a minimally invasive technique that utilizes very small incisions to release the thickened and tight capsule tissue surrounding the ball and socket. After a full capsular release, a gentle manipulation is then performed to stretch the surrounding tissue, restoring normal shoulder motion. Aggressive therapy is begun almost immediately after surgery to maintain the gains achieved during surgery.
