Arthroscopic debridement and capsular release is a minimally invasive technique typically utilized for the early to moderate stages of shoulder arthritis. This procedure removes arthritic bone and loose cartilage from the joint, as well as release tight capsular tissue to allow for improved shoulder motion. This is a good option for patients wanting to avoid or delay the need for a shoulder replacement.

ARTHROSCOPIC ROTATOR CUFF REPAIR
Arthroscopic repair of a rotator cuff tendon tear is an advancement in the treatment of these injuries that utilizes very small incisions, called minimally invasive surgery. This is a change from the traditional open method that utilizes larger incisions. In the arthroscopic method, a tiny camera is placed into the shoulder joint, which displays images on a TV screen that the surgeon watches. Miniature instruments are then used to repair the torn rotator cuff tendon back to the humerus bone. Studies have shown excellent outcomes with high rates of healing and decreased risk of infection compared to the open method.
