PECTORAL REPAIR

When the pectoralis tendon is ruptured, it is highly recommended that it be repaired back to the humerus bone to prevent significant weakness and deformity to the chest. This can be performed through a small incision near the armpit utilizing very strong suture material to anchor the tendon back to the bone. Once the tendon is fully healed, strength approaches near 100% in most studies
