CUBITAL TUNNEL RELEASE
A cubital tunnel release is performed to take excess pressure off of the ulnar nerve where it crosses the elbow joint. The constricting tissue is released from around the nerve. In certain circumstances, the nerve is transposed or moved into the front of the elbow to prevent continued compression behind the elbow.
